Yesterday's Elementary Fall Festival was a hit! Students were able to pet chickens, bunnies, goats, and a pony. They raced through an obstacle course, jumped in a bouncy castle, rode a hay ride, picked pumpkins, got face paintings, played Bingo, and enjoyed a snack. Thank you, Mrs. Brannon for organizing the event and to all the volunteers! It was a great day.
It’s Party Time: Elementary Halloween parties will be Friday, Oct. 28!
~Students are welcome to wear their costumes to school.
~At 9:15 am, the students in Wee Care-4th grade will parade around the entire school!
~Halloween parties will be in the individual classrooms anytime after 12:20.
~Your child’s teacher will be sending home information for their own class’s party. (All food must be pre-packaged.)
~We ask that you please don’t send any weapons or fake blood items to school.
-Parents are invited to come share in the class party fun at 12:20! (Parents will not be allowed in until that time.)

*Color Wars Class challenge- each grade or pair of grades will be assigned a color to wear on this day. Class/group with the most percentage of the number in their class wearing the color will win a treat!

Tomorrow will be our first early release Friday. School will let out at 1:05 PM. Mustang Night is also tomorrow beginning at 4:30 PM. Chili supper will be served from 5-7.

Mr. Gottfried's OK History/Government classes visited the Greenwood District in Tulsa today as a part of a grant through OSU. Students were given guided tours of the area, Reconciliation Park, and Greenwood Rising Black Wall Street History Center. Next semester students will create projects based on today's trip and additional research.
Frontier Student Council members Derek Bible, Kirklyn Warrior, Conner Sneath, and Jamie Molina attended the student council fall conference in Ponca City this morning. They learned about leadership, community service, and teamwork.
Frontier Elementary will have a Fall Festival on October 21 for our students. If your child would like to purchase a pumpkin, please return the note being sent home with $3. Limit 1 pumpkin per student.
The Frontier 5th/6th grade basketball teams will kick off their season October 24, 25, and 27 at the Ripley Elementary Tournament. Please see the included brackets for additional information. Good luck to our Mustangs!

Tomorrow, Oct. 18, all 10th and 11th graders will take the National ACT test. This test will count towards scholarship applications and college admissions. Students need to arrive to school on time and well rested. A full stomach is also important: Frontier provides a free breakfast, and all students are encouraged to eat. Good luck!

Reminder! Tonight we will continue with parent-teacher conferences from 3:30-6:30 PM. Also, a Northern Oklahoma College Financial Aid Counselor will be available to assist families and their seniors in completing the 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as well as assist families in setting up an FSA ID (Federal Student Aid Identification and Password).
Our elementary students received a visit from Cheryl the Cow this morning. Southwest Dairy Farms taught students about dairy cows and how milk gets from the farm to their table. The students were able to watch Cheryl chew her cud and give her milk.
Fall Break is this weekend.
