The MS home game we canceled Tuesday against Tonkawa has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb 6th.
Frontier Public Schools, in partnership with OCIC, recently introduced a new attendance incentive program. Students who miss three or less days each month will receive a reward for consistent dedication to education. Also, recognizing that parents and guardians play an equally important role in ensuring their students get to school on time, parents and guardians of those same students will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card.
In December, we honored 276 students by giving them the much coveted treat of soft-serve ice-cream. The lucky parents, randomly drawn through computer generation, were:
Elementary: Suzette Rhodd, parent/guardian of kindergartener, Austin Rhodd
Middle School: Lisa Eatmon, parent/guardian of eighth grader, James Goad
High School: Mindy Shotton, parent/guardian of ninth grader, Presley Shotton
All School: Eugene Big Soldier, parent/guardian of tenth grader, Gionna Big Soldier
Congratulations to the many students who met their three days or less goal and the parents who helped get them there. We look forward to rewarding January's achievers!
